A proposed wind farm and battery storage project near Monogorilby in the Western Downs and North Burnett regions of Queensland. The project is currently in the early phases of development.

80-100 wind turbines generating 400-600MW to power up to 330,000 Queensland homes.
Wind generation to be paired with battery storage to deliver power when it’s needed most.

The Project is located on the traditional lands of the Auburn Hawkwood people, approximately 55km south west of Mundubbera, 80km north of Chinchilla and 270km northwest of Brisbane. It will connect to the existing Powerlink 275kV network.

MREP is being developed by a partnership between LP Renewable Projects Pty Ltd (LPRP) and Intera Renewables (Intera). LPRP and Intera are jointly developing the Project, and Intera will construct, own and operate the Project.
