Neighbour Benefit Scheme
MREP will be designing a Neighbour Benefit Scheme (NBS) for nearby landholders in the coming months.
The NBS will be designed to provide annual payments to nearby neighbours of the project, as a means of providing direct financial benefits to those who reside within the community.
Payments begin at the start of construction, until the end of the project’s life (30-35 years).
A voluntary opt-in scheme and wholly separate from the wider community benefits. It is a developer led initiative to provide an enduring and lasting benefit to local residents.
We will reach out to all eligible neighbours to discuss the NBS in the coming months.
